General ophthalmologist with specialization in the field of medical retina.
Ms. P.H.B. Kok received her medical degree from the University of Amsterdam (2006). After the medical exam, she started as a physician-researcher at the Department of Ophthalmology of the Academic Medical Center of the University of Amsterdam and in 2007 started a combined path of ophthalmology training and PhD research.
She completed her specialization as an ophthalmologist in July 2014, after which she obtained her doctorate in September that year on the topic "Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) - beware of optical illusions."
As of August 2014, she is working at Oogziekenhuis Zonnestraal at the Lelystad and Amsterdam locations, which transferred to Bergman Clinics | Ogen as of July 1, 2019.
