Doctor Hülle studied history and psychology in Canterbury, England and medicine in Lübeck, Germany. He began his specialization in ophthalmology at Hamburg UMC, Germany and then left for his eye-surgical training at Plymouth Royal Eye Infirmary, Musgrove Park Hospital Taunton and Torbay Hospital, England.
Read moreHe received his PhD from the University of Lübeck in 2011 and has since presented and published internationally on neuroimaging, refraction and vitreo-retinal surgery. After his German - and European registration (respectively Facharzt and Fellow of the European board of Ophthalmology) as medical specialist ophthalmology in 2017 and 2018, Jan followed his specialization as vitreoretinal surgeon in Bremen, Munich and at Radboud UMC, Nijmegen. Since 2019, he has been working at Bergman Clinics | Eyes.
