Double chin and hamster cheeks how come?

Throughout life, fat accumulates in certain parts of the face (for example, on the neck and along the jawline), while in other areas it decreases (for example, on the cheekbones). In addition, the skin slackens, causing it to droop more. This creates small "pockets" behind the chin along the jawline (hamster cheeks), causing the tight jaw to disappear over time. Under the chin, the skin becomes flabby and fills with fat, creating the double chin.
