Dr. Frank Faber established himself as a General Orthopedic Surgeon at Leyenburg Hospital in October 1995. Since 2007, he has focused entirely on the treatment of foot and ankle defects. This makes him one of the few full time foot/ankle surgeons in the Netherlands.
Read morePrior to specializing, he did a Fellowship in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery with Dr. S.T. Hansen at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle, USA.
In April 2003, he received his doctorate from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam with the thesis, "Hallux valgus and the first tarsometatarsal joint: clinical and biomechanical aspects." Dr. Faber is a member of the Dutch Orthopaedic Association, a member of the DOFAA (Dutch Foot and Ankle Association) and a member of the EFAS (European Foot and Ankle Society).
Since July 2017, Dr. Faber has been working at Bergman Clinics in Rijswijk.

Dr. Frank Faber has held various board positions nationally and internationally:
- Secretary of the DOFAA from June 1998 - January 2009;
- Member of the EFAS Educational Committee from 2006 - 2011;
- Since February 2015, he has been an honorary member of the DOFAA.
Nationally and internationally, he gave numerous lectures in the field of foot and ankle disorders to fellow orthopedists, orthopedic surgeons in training, general practitioners, physical therapists and podiatrists. He contributed to 29 publications in international scientific journals.
